Machine Operator
Rochester, NH—Northeastern Nonwovens Facility
The Manufacturing Department is responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment responsible for the production, packaging, and distribution of Northeastern Nonwovens products.
The candidate will provide support for the mill operation on a fixed shift as an Entry Level Operator. Expectations of the candidate include demonstrating strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment, exhibiting strong communication skills, and focusing on providing strategic support to the mills goals and visions. This role will be critical to machine operation in assigned area as well as providing training support in other areas within facility as opportunities arise.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate high speed manufacturing equipment including warehouse or material handling responsibilities as needed
- Master all process elements of role including troubleshooting and basic repair
- Exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work as a member of a high-performance team
- Provide training support to other areas within the mill to help reach strategic mill goals
- Other duties as assigned
- Focus on safety through identifying and improving conditions that affect safety and upholding safety standards and expectations
- Ensure quality through accomplishing tasks and showing concern for all aspects of the job

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a work schedule of 4-10 hour shifts, including overtime, that could include weekends and holidays
- At least one year of verifiable work experience in manufacturing
- Basic Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic mechanical, technical or manufacturing skills or related experience
- Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution
- Previous or current experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with industrial tractors or forklift operations
- 2-3 years of verifiable work experience in manufacturing
